CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Congratulates Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Padma Bhushan.

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the residence of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and former Maharashtra Governor, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, to extend his heartiest congratulations and best wishes on being conferred with the prestigious civilian honour, the ‘Padma Bhushan’, by the Government of India.

The Chief Minister Said that conferring the Padma Bhushan upon Bhagat Singh Koshyari is a matter of immense pride not only for Uttarakhand but for the entire nation. He added that this honour is a national recognition of Koshyari’s decades-long public life, service to the nation, social commitment, and dedicated contributions toward public welfare.

CM Dhami further said that throughout his political and public career, Bhagat Singh Koshyari has always given topmost priority to public service, simplicity, and national interest. His contribution has been highly significant in various capacities—ranging from the Uttarakhand statehood movement to the development of the state and nation-building. The Chief Minister emphasised that the ideals set by Koshyari as a public representative, Chief Minister, Member of Parliament, Governor, and social worker serve as a great source of inspiration for the younger generation.
