Chief Minister Launches Farmer-Centric Mobile App ‘Manorama Krishi Rakshak’.

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the farmer-centric mobile app ‘Manorama Krishi Rakshak’, developed by the Manorama Dabral Jan Kalyan Samiti, at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office.

Wishing the organization success for the initiative, the Chief Minister described the app as a useful tool for farmers and Self-Help Groups (SHGs). He noted that such initiatives utilizing modern technology effectively can ensure smooth access to essential agricultural information and services for farmers.

Representatives of the Manorama Dabral Jan Kalyan Samiti shared that the ‘Manorama Krishi Rakshak’ app aims to provide multiple facilities on a single digital platform, including Real-time Weather & Alerts: Live updates and warnings to help plan farming activities, Crop Advisory & AI Disease Identification: Crop-specific farming advice paired with AI-driven detection of crop diseases,Market & Logistics Integration: Agricultural and market information alongside access to transportation and logistics services & Support for SHGs & Rural Enterprises: Features designed to connect self-help groups and rural businesses directly to the market.

The committee officials emphasized that the app was developed keeping the practical needs of farmers in mind, aiming to offer digital support at every stage—from crop production to market access. Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi, along with Kamala Dabral, Rajesh Dabral, Anshul, Pranjal Naudiyal, and Soorveer Singh Kathait from the Manorama Dabral Jan Kalyan Samiti, were present at the launch event.
