Adding to this, Vibha Kapoor, Principal, Welham Girls School, said, “As Welham Girls’ School enters its 70th year, our vision is to build a school fit for the 22nd century, one where girls can be children without the weight of constant scrutiny, explore their interests freely and realise their full potential without being limited by access to resources. We are strengthening our sporting infrastructure, encouraging research-led and hands-on learning, and placing greater emphasis on critical thinking. In an age of increasing digital dependence, we want to nurture young women who can think independently, question intelligently and use their intellectual capabilities to drive positive change. It is encouraging to see this vision shared by our alumnae, Board members, students and parents. Welham’s legacy is our foundation, but our responsibility is to ensure that it continues to evolve with the aspirations of the generations to come.”

Across the two days, the celebrations brought many aspects of the Welham experience together and honouring the cherished legacy of the school while embracing the aspirations of the younger generations.
