Dehradun: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), Uttarakhand State Chapter, successfully organized the 2nd Uttarakhand Pharma, Healthcare & AYUSH Conclave & Samman 2026 at Hotel Ramada, Dehradun, bringing together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, healthcare professionals, academicians, AYUSH experts, and entrepreneurs on a common platform to discuss the future of Uttarakhand’s Pharma, Healthcare, Wellness, and AYUSH sectors.
The conclave commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting and the National Anthem.
Welcoming the dignitaries and delegates, Shri Vineet Kumar Gupta, Chair, PHDCCI Uttarakhand State Chapter and Managing Director, G B Equipment System Ltd., highlighted Uttarakhand’s emergence as a preferred destination for pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare services, AYUSH, wellness, and medical tourism. He emphasized the need for stronger industry-government-academia collaboration to further accelerate growth and investment in the sector.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Vivek Seigell, Advisor Corporate Affairs, Walter & Bushnell, underscored the importance of industry partnerships, innovation, and skill development in building a globally competitive healthcare ecosystem.
Dr. Naveen Nischal, Chairman, Voice of Healthcare, emphasized the growing role of healthcare infrastructure and technology in improving patient outcomes and strengthening India’s healthcare delivery system.
In his address, Dr. (Prof.) Rajendra Dobhal, Vice-Chancellor, Swami Rama Himalayan University, highlighted the importance of research, innovation, and academic-industry collaboration in advancing the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

The post-lunch session witnessed engaging presentations by Mr. Praviin Saxena, CHRO, Karoli Staffing Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; Dr. Narendra Deo Tripathi, VP – Quality & Regulatory Affairs, BACFO Pharmaceuticals India Ltd.; Mr. Sunmeet Singh, VP, AXA Parenteral Ltd.; Prof. (Dr.) G.T. Kulkarni, Professor and Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, DIT University; Dr. Rajeev Kurele, Associate Professor, Uttarakhand Ayurved University; and Ms. Nandini Kumar, Founder, NourishKind, who shared their perspectives on regulatory compliance, quality standards, workforce development, innovation, Ayurveda, wellness, and emerging industry opportunities.
The event concluded with the prestigious Uttarakhand Pharma, Healthcare & AYUSH Samman 2026 ceremony, recognizing outstanding contributions by organizations and individuals in the fields of pharmaceuticals, healthcare, AYUSH, wellness, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The Samman Ceremony was graced by Shri Madan Kaushik, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Government of Uttarakhand, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he lauded PHDCCI’s efforts in recognizing excellence and fostering industry-government collaboration. He appreciated the Chamber’s continued contribution towards promoting innovation, quality standards, entrepreneurship, and sectoral development, which are crucial for strengthening Uttarakhand’s economy and healthcare ecosystem.
The opening remarks during the Samman Ceremony were delivered by Dr. (Prof.) Rajendra Dobhal, Hon’ble Jury Chair and Vice-Chancellor, Swami Rama Himalayan University, who congratulated all award recipients and emphasized the importance of innovation and excellence in healthcare and pharmaceutical services.
