Dehradun: In view of continuous rainfall and adverse weather conditions, Garhwal Commissioner Anand Swarup has directed a precautionary suspension of the Kedarnath Yatra for the time being. Directing officials to accord top priority to the safety of devotees, he stated that the pilgrimage will resume smoothly once weather conditions return to normal.
Devotees have been appealed to check the latest weather updates before setting out on the journey and to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the administration. The administration is continuously monitoring the situation, and necessary arrangements are being ensured for the convenience and safety of the passengers.
