While giving the Opening Remarks at the inaugural function Dr. Ranjeet Mehta, CEO & Secretary General, PHDCCI stated that UKITEX will also provide an excellent platform for showcasing the achievements and strengths of Uttarkhand. It will aim to position itself as a strategic event to boost regional trade and local businesses in Uttarakhand.
The welcome address was presented by Shri Vineet Gupta, Chairman, Uttarakhand State Chapter, PHDCCI, while Shri Amit Khaneja, Co-Chair, Uttarakhand State Chapter, PHDCCI, also addressed the gathering.
The inaugural session featured addresses by CA Arvind Kumar Aggarwal, Executive Director, BNI Dehradun; Shri Saurabh Tiwari, Director, BIS Dehradun; and Shri Pankaj Yadav, CGM – NABARD, Uttarakhand. The Chief Guest, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the role of such platforms in promoting investment, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth in Uttarakhand.
The inaugural proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by an Expo Tour from 4:15 PM onwards. PHDCCI stated that UKITEX 2025 marks an important step towards positioning Uttarakhand as a preferred destination for business and investment, and is expected to foster networking, collaboration, and new growth opportunities for industry and entrepreneurs over the next five days.
