Two days international conference, “AI Sustainability & Innovation in Industry 5.0 Era”, concludes at IMS Unison University Dehradun.

Dehradun: An international conference, “AI Sustainability & Innovation in Industry 5.0 Era”, recently concluded, marking a significant milestone in exploring the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its integration with sustainable practices in the evolving landscape of Industry 5.0. The event brought together global experts, researchers, and industry leaders to delve into critical themes shaping the future of technology and industry.

Prof. (Dr.) Anil SubbaRao Paila, Vice Chancellor of IMS Unison University, emphasized the rapid evolution of AI, its profound impact on industries, and the importance of continuous learning to bridge the skills gap in a digital-centric workforce.

Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Srivastava, Dean School of Management at IMS Unison University, highlighted the submission of over 125 research papers from more than 45 universities worldwide. He also discussed the need of shift from the automation-driven Industry 4.0 to the collaborative human-AI dynamics of Industry 5.0.

The three technical sessions (online and offline) in two days covered topics in various tracks and offered the participants valuable insights into cutting-edge research, applications, and initiatives aimed at fostering student innovation. The conference highlighted the transformative power of AI, the importance of ethical development, the convergence of human and AI intelligence, and the need for sustainable practices in technology development. Emphasis was also placed on the crucial role of data and the importance of lifelong learning in this rapidly evolving field.

The event culminated in a valedictory session chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Anil SubbaRao Paila, along with the eminent chief guest Mr. Suyash Agarwal, Chairperson of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Uttarakhand Chapter and Dr. Tshewang Phuntsho, International Collaborator of the conference. Dr. Sneha Badola, Senior Assistant Professor at IMS Unison University, delivered the vote of thanks, bringing the event to a close.
