Tiloth Area will be Heritage Village of Uttarkashi : Kishore Bhatt

– A plan will be developed for organized development while preserving its ancient character.
– Ganga ghats and spiritual pathways will be constructed from Tiloth Bridge to Tekhla.

Uttarkashi- The BJP has intensified campaigning in the municipal area of Badhahat (Uttarkashi) in favor of its Chairman candidate Kishore Bhatt. Today, BJP’s senior leaders conducted a door-to-door public outreach campaign in the Tiloth area to solicit votes for the party’s candidate. During this, BJP municipal  Badhahat (Uttarkashi) Candidate Kishor Bhatt said that the Tiloth area will be developed as the city’s heritage village.  Grand spiritual pathway and Ganga bathing ghats will be constructed from Tiloth Bridge to Tekhla Bridge.

Kishore Bhatt emphasized that the areas of Tiloth, Joshiyara, and Ladaadi hold significant importance within the Badhahat urban area. He also said that although these areas have taken on an urban form but the facilities are still village-like. He said that a plan for heritage development will be implemented in these areas, maintaining their ancient character. He added that there would be development of streetlights, drains, pathways, and roads in the Tiloth area. Also small parking facilities will be created on government vacant land in Tiloth. Development will take place for temples, the panchayat building, and public spaces. Apart from stormwater drainage, the entire Tiloth area will be connected to the sewer line.

Kishore Bhatt reiterated his vision for the systematic development of the city while seeking blessings from the local people in Tiloth village, Sera, Colony, and Market.

During rally Gangotri MLA, Suresh Chauhan, former MLA Vijaypal Sajwan, the wife of late former MLA Gopal Rawat, Shanti Rawat, head Binita Rawat, Sarita Padiyar, Savita Bhatt, Meera Uniyal, Lokendra Bisht, Vijay Santari, Chandan Pawar, election coordinator Jaiveer Chauhan and other party workers were present.
