Dehradun: Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi has directed the immediate appointment of nodal officers to finalize preparations for the World Ayurveda Congress & Arogya Expo, an international event scheduled to be held in Dehradun from December 12 to 15. She emphasized effective coordination between key departments, including AYUSH, Tourism, Horticulture, Industry, Skill Development, Health, and Culture, along with the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
The Chief Secretary has given instructions to finalize the list of protocol and liaison officers along with all the necessary arrangements for the foreign guests coming from all over the world in this event. She has given instructions to strengthen all security related arrangements including food and fire safety at the venues. She also instructed the Municipal Corporation to work especially on cleanliness in the city and venues and other related departments for uninterrupted supply of parking, electricity and water etc.
The Chief Secretary has directed to give priority to Uttarakhand’s culture, local food etc. along with state branding during the organization of World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo. He has directed to focus on the display and promotion of Uttarakhand based AYUSH MSME and enterprises during the World Ayurveda Congress.
Invitations have been sent by the World Ayurveda Congress to experts, doctors, scholars related to Ayurveda from the country and around the world for the international event World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo to be held in Dehradun from 12 to 15 December. The format of more than 400 sessions has been finalized during the event. A list of 100 speakers is being prepared.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary Shri RK Sudhanshu, Secretary Shri Pankaj Kumar Pandey and other officers were present.
