Dehradun: In honour of the 38th National Games being hosted for the first time in Uttarakhand, a special projection mapping event is being held at Dehradun’s iconic Clock Tower from January 24 to February 14, 2025. This projection mapping will be available daily from 5 PM to 11 PM for the public. It features visuals showcasing the National Games logo, the torch “Tejaswini,” the mascot “Mouli,” event venues, and the rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. The initiative aims to raise awareness about the games and highlight the cultural significance of the state.
The grand opening ceremony of the 38th National Games will take place on January 28, 2025, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun. The event will be inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi. The opening ceremony will include captivating performances that celebrate Uttarakhand’s cultural heritage.
This year’s National Games will be organized on the theme “Green Games”, emphasizing environmental conservation and sustainability.
The 38th National Games will be held from January 28 to February 14, 2025, across various cities in Uttarakhand, including Dehradun, Haldwani, Rishikesh, Tehri, and Haridwar. Thousands of athletes from across the nation will participate in the event.
