Dehradun: The government has reshuffled the responsibilities of 29 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers. In this reshuffle, Chairman of the Biodiversity Board, S.P. Subuddhi, has been given the additional charge of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Nodal Officer for Forest Land Transfer. PCCF Neena Grewal has been assigned the responsibility of Managing Director of the Forest Corporation. The position of Managing Director had been vacant since July following the retirement of G.S. Pandey.
Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) for Working Plans and the additional charge of CCF Kumaon has been given to Tejaswini Patil. Dheeraj Pandey, who was serving as CCF Kumaon, has now been made CCF Garhwal. Sanjeev Chaturvedi has been relieved of the responsibilities of CCF Working Plans and Conservator of Forest Research; he has now been appointed Director of the Forest Training Academy, Haldwani. Prasanna Patro has been relieved from the charge of CEO, JICA; IFS officer Naresh Kumar has been appointed as the new CEO, JICA.
Chief Conservator of Forests Sushant Patnaik has been given the additional charge of CCF Fire Control and Management. Conservator of Forests Pankaj Kumar has been appointed CF Research, Haldwani, and Chandrashekhar Joshi has been made Conservator of Forests for Northern Kumaon.
Conservator of Forests Nitishmani Tripathi has been given the responsibility of CF Southern Circle. TR Bijulal, who was serving in this role, has been appointed Member Secretary of the State Biodiversity Board. DFO Dhruv Singh Martolia has been posted in Ramnagar. Diganth Nayak, who was earlier DFO Ramnagar, has been appointed as Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Narendra Nagar.

Changes have also been made at the administrative level. Conservator of Forests Kalyani has been appointed as Additional Secretary for Forests. She has also been given the additional charge of CF Yamuna Circle. Kahkahan Naseem, who was earlier in this position, has been posted to the Watershed Directorate on state deputation.
IFS Mahatim Yadav has been given the charge of Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) at Nanda Devi Biosphere, while Jeevan Mohan Dagade has been assigned responsibility as DFO Lansdowne. The responsibilities of DFOs for Haridwar, Chakrata, and Nainital Forest Divisions have been assigned to IFS officers Vyal Swapnil Aniruddha, Vaibhav Singh, and Akash Gangwar, respectively. The responsibility of DFO Kalagarh has been given to Tarun S.
IFS officers Sarvesh Kumar, Pranali Ramesh Umre, Rajat Suman, and Aditya Ratna have been assigned as Deputy Conservators of Forests (DCFs) for Kedarnath, Nodal Office for Forest Land Transfer, Rudraprayag Forest Division, and Bageshwar Forest Division, respectively.
