Common symptoms include swelling in the body, foamy urine, decreased urine output, blood in the urine, persistent weakness, high blood pressure (especially in young patients), and frequent urination. As kidney function deteriorates, metabolic waste accumulates in the bloodstream, leading to fatigue, reduced mental alertness, and loss of appetite. Patients may also experience shortness of breath with advancing CKD. In advanced cases, CKD can cause easy bruising, prolonged bleeding, and a weakened immune system, making individuals more vulnerable to infections.”
