Dehradun: Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the world’s leading jewellery retailers, hosted a special Brides of India Bridal Show at its Rajpur Road showroom in Dehradun, The event formed part of the brand’s ongoing pan-India Brides of India campaign and brought together curated bridal jewellery experiences for brides-to-be, families and wedding shoppers in the city.
The bridal show was inaugurated by Madam Rajni Rawat, Minister of State and Vice President, Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand, in the presence of customers, patrons of the brand and members of the Malabar Gold & Diamonds team.
Now in its 15th edition, Brides of India has evolved into one of the country’s most recognised bridal jewellery campaigns. The initiative is rooted in the belief that every bride carries her own traditions, rituals and memories, which are reflected in the jewellery she chooses for her wedding. Each edition celebrates regional bridal identities while consistently emphasising purity, craftsmanship and jewellery designed to remain meaningful long after the wedding celebrations.
In Dehradun, this approach was reflected through an intimate in-store bridal showcase. Curated bridal looks were presented through a ramp walk featuring models, highlighting jewellery combinations suited for traditional weddings, receptions and contemporary ceremonies. Guests also participated in personalised styling sessions inside the showroom, where bridal sets were paired with wedding attire to help families visualise complete wedding looks across multiple functions.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. M. P. Ahammed, Chairman, Malabar Group, said,
“Brides of India reflects our belief that bridal jewellery is deeply personal and shaped by culture, family traditions and regional identity. Through this campaign, we aim to celebrate that diversity while offering jewellery crafted with purity, thoughtful design and lasting value. By bringing curated bridal experiences to Dehradun, we aim to stay closely connected with our customers and be part of their most important life moments.”
During the event, the Rajpur Road showroom showcased an extensive selection of bridal jewellery across gold, diamond, platinum and gemstone categories. Guests explored necklaces, long haars, chokers, bangles, bridal earrings, mangalsutras and rings, with a focus on craftsmanship, comfort and wearability for long wedding ceremonies and multiple celebrations. The in-store team offered guided consultations to help customers align jewellery choices with rituals, attire and future use.
With the successful hosting of the Brides of India Bridal Show in Dehradun, Malabar Gold & Diamonds continues to deepen its engagement with bridal shoppers across key markets. The brand remains committed to bringing culturally rooted, thoughtfully curated bridal jewellery experiences to cities across India as part of the ongoing Brides of India campaign.
