Mussoorie: The body of a 22-year-old employee was found hanging from a noose in the government quarters of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. Shockingly, the employee was wearing a saree and had even applied makeup like a women. The police are investigating various aspects, including potential sexual disorders.
According to Mussoorie police officer Arvind Chaudhary, the deceased, Anukool Rawat, son of Vipendra Singh Rawat, was originally from Uflida in Srinagar Garhwal. He had been employed as multi-tasking staff at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration for the past year and a half. Anukool was residing in the government quarters located in Happy Valley. When he did not report for duty on Thursday, efforts were made to locate him. The staff found his room locked from the inside. After the police arrived, a carpenter was called to break down the door. Inside, Anukool’s body was found hanging from a rope, dressed in a saree, and wearing makeup.
Anukool Rawat lived alone in the government quarters and did not communicate much with other staff members. Officer Arvind Chaudhary mentioned that Anukool’s family has been summoned, and the investigation into the reasons for the suicide is ongoing.
