Dehradun, April 3, 2026: Day 2 of Lamhe’26, the annual techno-cultural fest of IMS Unison University (IUU), continued its vibrant journey with an exhilarating blend of artistic expression, cultural richness and high-energy performances at the university campus.
Building on the massive success of Day 1, the second day witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across multiple institutions with the campus once again coming alive with creativity, talent and youthful zeal. One of the major highlights of the day was Exhibition Extraordinaire, where participants showcased innovative ideas, artistic creations and thought provoking exhibits, reflecting both creativity and intellect. The winners of the event .
The stage was set for powerful performances in Monologue method Acting (Solo) and One Act Plays (Group), where participants captivated the audience with their intense portrayals, emotional depth and compelling storytelling. Rijul Goel of Uttaranchal University secured first position, while Riya Mishra from Jigyasa University achieved second position in the monologue acting competition. IMS Unison University emerged as the winner of the One Act Play competition.
Fashion Show and Sur-Sangam events highlighted the expressive and dramatic skills of budding artists. In the Solo Singing category, Kush Gaur of Uttaranchal University secured first position, followed by Aayush Grover from UPES, who achieved second position. Lavanya from Graphic Era Deemed University secured the third position. In the Duet Singing category, Raghav and Vansh from IMS Noida won the first position. The second position was secured by Kautuk Kumar Singh and Bhagya Bhatt of DIT, while Kush and Abhinav from Uttaranchal University achieved the third position.
Music took center stage with Battle of Bands, an electrifying competition that saw bands competing with high energy performances and original compositions, leaving the audience thrilled and engaged throughout. Adding a touch of classical elegance to the fest, a beautiful Kathak dance performance was presented by Shri Vishal Krishna Ji & Team (National Award Winners). The graceful movements, intricate footwork during the performance left the audience spellbound and added a culturally enriching element to the fest.
Throughout the day, various schools of the university including School of Management and Liberal arts, School of Law, School of Hospitality Management, and School of Media, Communication & Design hosted a range of engaging and intellectual events. Students actively participated in competitions, workshops and fun activities, resulting collaboration, innovation and holistic learning.
The grand finale of the evening featured an electrifying musical night by DJ Sumit Sethi, who set the main stage ablaze with energetic beats that had the crowd dancing into the night, bringing Day 2 to a spectacular close. Overall, Day 2 of Lamhe 2026 successfully celebrated the spirit of art, performance, and unity, further cementing the fest as a dynamic platform for talent, creativity and cultural exchange.
