‘LAMHE 2026’ Concludes at IMS Unison University with Grand Celebrity Night

Dehradun,: The three-day annual techno-cultural fest ‘Lamhe 2026’ at IMS Unison University concluded on a high note with a grand valedictory ceremony, celebrating creativity, talent, and competitive spirit among students from across the country.

The final day witnessed enthusiastic participation in concluding rounds of several competitions, drawing large audiences and showcasing exceptional performances across domains such as management, law, media, and hospitality. The day started with a series of engaging events across various schools of the university. The School of Management & Liberal Arts hosted interesting competitions such The HR Forager Hunt, The Fortune Roll, Tark Shank, Literary Library Quest, Beer game, Marketing Mystery as The School of Media, Communication, & Design conducted events like AD Mad Show, Ad-Selfie, Slogan Making Competition.

At the School of Computer Applications, students participated in Output Predictor Challenge, Bug Hunt Arena, Programming Battle. The School of Hospitality Management organized events including Mystery Aroma Challenge, Tourism Quiz, Bouquet Battle. Meanwhile, the School of Law hosted creatively stimulating competitions such as Pro Bono Excellence Competition, Legal Poster Making. Additional cultural and fun attractions such as Nirtya-O-Logy (Solo, Duet, and Group), Lucky Draw, Photo Montage – Collage at the Central Plaza and the main stage further energized the campus.

The valedictory session was graced by esteemed dignitaries including university leadership, deans, faculty members, and the Chief Guest. The ceremony commenced with a formal address acknowledging the success of the fest and appreciating the efforts of the organizing committee and student volunteers.

Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Anil SubbaRao Paila congratulated all participants and winners, emphasizing the importance of such platforms in fostering innovation, collaboration, and holistic development among students.

The valedictory ceremony also featured the felicitation of the Chief Guests, Mr. Ajit Yadav and Dr. Kavita Singh, in recognition of their distinguished contributions. Mr. Yadav, Director at Lexaya Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and Heals Medicine Pvt. Ltd., brings vast experience in corporate legal leadership, having served with organizations such as Ranbaxy, PepsiCo India, Hindustan Unilever, and Vedanta Ltd. Dr. Kavita Singh, a senior surgical oncologist based in England with over three decades of experience, is internationally renowned for her expertise in advanced gynecological cancer surgeries and her contributions to integrated cancer care. In his address, Mr. Yadav appreciated the scale and professionalism of ‘Lamhe 2026’ and encouraged students to develop adaptability, ethical leadership, and a multidisciplinary outlook in their careers.

A key part of the valedictory ceremony was the prize distribution for the Youth Parliament by the School of Law, cultural events like Grandeur: The Fashion Show, War of Bands where winners of were felicitated with trophies, certificates, and accolades. Participants from institutions including Delhi University, UPES, Graphic Era University, and Doon University were recognized for their outstanding performances.

The valedictory ceremony also celebrated individual excellence with the announcement of the prestigious titles of Mr. Lamhe and Ms. Lamhe. Mr. Lamhe was awarded to Deepak Singh Rawat from IMS Unison University while Ms. Lamhe was conferred upon Riya Mishra from Jigyasa University. Their recognition reflected outstanding personality, confidence, and overall performance throughout the fest, making them exemplary representatives of the spirit of ‘Lamhe 2026’.

The organizing committee expressed gratitude to all participating institutions, sponsors, faculty coordinators, and student volunteers whose collective efforts contributed to the success of the fest.

The ceremony concluded with a formal vote of thanks by the Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Amit Adlakha, where he reflected on the journey of ‘Lamhe 2026’, highlighting the record participation, diversity of events, and the seamless execution of over 60 competitions during the fest, followed by closing remarks marking the successful culmination of ‘Lamhe 2026’.

The valedictory session was followed by a mesmerizing Flute recital by Shri Ronu Majumdar Ji (Padma Shri, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award Winner). His soulful performance added a classical and prestigious touch to the celebrations.

A major highlight of the concluding day of ‘Lamhe 2026’ will be the much-anticipated Celebrity Night featuring a live performance by renowned singer B Praak. Known for his soulful voice and chart-topping hits, B Praak is set to captivate the audience with an electrifying performance, adding a spectacular appeal to the fest. The announcement of his performance has generated immense excitement among students and attendees, with expectations of a high-energy musical evening that will serve as a fitting finale to the three-day celebration.
