LAMHE-2025’: Three-Day Inter-University Cultural Fest at IMS Unison University.

Dehradun: Lamhe 2025, the annual Cultural Fest of IMS Unison University (IUU) opened with grandiose and pomp on March 27, 2025. The event has reached its greater heights due to the untiring efforts of the organizing team and the enthusiastic students. Students from various universities and colleges from across the country participated in different school events of IUU. The first day was filled with thrills and fun comprising music, gaming, fashion and entertainment.
The inaugural ceremony was held at 09:30 a.m. in the university campus. It opened with a debriefing session by the Dean Student Welfare (DSW), Dr. Vinay Rana. He welcomed students from other universities, he expressed his pleasure at the overwhelming participation from other universities in the fest and advised them to indulge themselves in three days of fun and creativity.
The Chief Guest of the event Shri Anand Vardhan, Additional Chief Secretary Finance and Infrastructure Development, Govt. of Uttrakhand, in his address to the audience congratulated the management of IMS Unison University for organising the biggest Techno Management Event of Dehradun. He emphasised on the importance of such cultural event as how important these events are for the holistic development of the students overall personality and shaping the careers of students.
This was followed by the welcome address by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Anil SubbaRao Paila. In his inaugural speech, he acknowledged the enthusiasm of the students and the participants regarding taking part in the events and in showcasing their talents and all-encompassing passion.
He called attention to the variety of activities waiting to be explored in the next three days and urged the students to showcase their talent. He asked them to nurture their talent in due course of time, without any inhibitions and he guaranteed the institution’s willingness to play host in ensuring the comfort of the students. The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the organizers for developing a meticulous plan and unrolling it to be accomplished in the course of the next 72 hours.
Col. Pranav Kumar, Registrar, IMS Unison University with his vote of thanks to the chief guest praised the efforts of the Core organising team of Lamhe, 2025 and encouraged the participants of 30 different universities and institutes to participate in various event.

The event was attended by the Deans and Heads of all schools, Dean Training and placement, Chief Proctor and Director IQAC, faculty, and staff members.
The first day of Lamhe saw various events like Lean Process Race, National Business hackathon and Roadies by the School of Management.The School of Law conducted Vaad Vivad (Legal Debate), Legal Camera while School of Hospitality Management conducted fun events like Sweet Treat Culinary Contest and Best out of Waste. The School of Liberal Arts conducted Film Review and Cosplay which kept the festive spirit going in the students while the School of Mass Communication conducted ‘Piece to Camera’ and the Short Film/Documentary copetition.
The fun events of the day were Sur Sangam (solo and duet singing) and Grandeur – The Fashion Show. The first day of the event was successfully closed with a DJ Night
