Derhadun: IMS Unison University continued its annual techno-management fest, ‘Lamhe 2025’, with an exhilarating second day filled with innovation, competition, and cultural vibrancy. The day’s events showcased the multifaceted talents of students from various institutions, fostering a spirit of collaboration and excellence.
Technical Events Ignite Innovation
The day commenced with the Monologue and One Act Play, where students from 30 different universities and institutes participated with their extremely talented students. School of Law organised ‘Turncoat’ event where speakers had to change sides instantly. Technical events including RJ Hunt & Photography competition by School of Mass Communication, Legal Quiz, Plate Painting & Master blender by School of Hospitality Management and Creative writing & Open Mic attracted over 500 students from different institutes and universities.
Management Events Showcase Strategic Acumen
In the realm of management, the ‘HR Innovate’ tested participants’ knowledge and storytelling ability of students. The ‘National Business Hackathon’ offered budding entrepreneurs a platform to present their innovative business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, receiving constructive feedback and mentorship. A ‘Workshop on case study’ was also organised for the students along with an Entrepreneurial Debate where student of various Management Schools participated in large numbers.
Cultural Extravaganza Unites Participants
Afternoon was the time for War of Bands’ event, where musical bands from various universities /institutes participated to deliver stellar performances, adding rhythm and energy to the evening. As the sun set, the campus transformed into a hub of cultural celebration. The famous Sufi Bollywood duo Salman Zaman performed at the stage of IMS Unison University’s Lamhe 2025. During their performance they touched the spectrum of Sufi music moving towards Bollywood’s typical musical colours. The guests were felicitated by Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Anil SubbaRao Paila and Col. Pranav Kumar, Registrar, IMS Unison University along with Dr. Vinay Rana (DSW) and deans of all schools.
