Dehradun: IMS Unison University (IUU), Dehradun is all set to host its annual cultural extravaganza, Lamhe 2025, from March 27 to March 29, 2025. The three-day festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of music, art, fashion, theater, and more, with students from universities and colleges across the country participating in various events.
The festival will kick off with an opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on March 27 at the university campus. The event will be graced by Shri Anand Vardhan, Additional Chief Secretary of the Uttarakhand Government, as the Honorable Chief Guest. The ceremony will also be attended by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Deans, faculty members from all schools, staff, and students of the university.
Highlights of Lamhe 2025:
- Day 1 (March 27): The festivities begin with Inaugural Ceremony, Sur Sangam (musical performances), a Lucky Draw, and Grandeur, a dazzling fashion show. The day will end with an energetic DJ Night by Carnivores.
- Day 2 (March 28): The second day features Exhibition Extraordinaire, Monologue and Method Acting competitions, One Act Plays (group theater), and Band Combat (a battle of bands). The evening will come alive with a Musical Night by Salman & Zaman.
- Day 3 (March 29): The final day includes Nritya-O-Logy (Dance performances), another Grand Lucky Draw, and a star-studded Celebrity Night with renowned music directors Salim-Suleman.
In addition to the main stage events, various schools within IUU—such as the School of Management, School of Liberal Arts, School of Law, School of Hospitality Management, and School of Mass Communication—will host specific events related to their fields, including media, management, law, hospitality, and arts.
The festival will conclude with a Valedictory Ceremony on March 29, 2025, marking the end of this exciting cultural celebration.
