Experts from 40 Countries to Gather at National Arogya Expo 2024 in Dehradun.

National Arogya Expo 2024 to be held in Parade Ground, Dehradun from December 12 to 15.

Dehradun: The 10th World Ayurveda Congress and  National Arogya Expo 2024, scheduled to take place in Dehradun from December 12 to 15, will host over 6,000 delegates, including experts from more than 40 countries. The event will focus on promoting traditional medical systems such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy.

Given its rich natural resources, including the Himalayas and perennial rivers like the Ganga and Yamuna, Uttarakhand has always been a significant hub for yoga practitioners and researchers in traditional medicine. Continuing this legacy, the World Ayurveda Foundation will organize the event, featuring 20 internationally renowned speakers and over 150 presenters across various sessions. More than 900 research papers on traditional medical practices will be presented to the attendees.

To boost investment and trade in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy, a buyer-seller meet with AYUSH drug manufacturers will also be organized.

“It is a matter of pride for the entire Uttarakhand that the 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo 2024 is being organized in Dehradun. Through this event, the AYUSH and other traditional medicine manufacturers of the state will especially benefit. Along with this, awareness will also be created in the state through traditional medicine.” Uttarakhand, Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami.

According to Additional Secretary Vijay Jogdande, the Expo, supported by the Ministry of AYUSH, will offer free clinics at Parade Ground, Dehradun. These clinics will provide consultations on diabetes, women’s and child health, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, and preventive cardiology. Over three lakh people from across the state are expected to visit this comprehensive fair showcasing Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy.
