Dehradun: As part of the 38th National Games held in Uttarakhand, the Honorable Chief Minister of the Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, conducted a surprise inspection of the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. During his visit, he interacted with the athletes, encouraged them, and also shared lunch with them.
The Chief Minister Stated, “The National Games are of utmost importance to us and remain a top priority. We are ensuring that all athletes have a remarkable experience here and face no inconvenience. Additionally, we are making efforts to provide players from different states with meals according to their preferences so they can perform at their best.”
He also visited Parade Ground in Dehradun to assess the arrangements at the event venues. He issued special instructions to ensure the smooth execution of the games and to prioritize the well-being of the athletes.
The Chief Minister’s visit boosted the morale of both the athletes and the organizing committee, who appreciated his efforts and expressed gratitude to the state government. This is the first time Uttarakhand is hosting the National Games, and the government is making every possible effort to ensure its success.
With the state government’s efforts, these National Games will become historic, giving Uttarakhand a new identity in the field of sports.
