Uttarkashi: BJP candidate for the chairperson post of Badahat Municipal Council (Uttarkashi), Kishor Bhatt, sought blessings from the city’s traders. Kishor Bhatt extended New Year greetings and shared a fresh vision for the city’s development with the city traders. He also pledged to address the issues faced by traders, ensuring improved facilities and security for them.
The election for Badahat Municipal Council in Uttarkashi is becoming particularly intriguing. With senior leaders, MLA, former legislators and senior party leaders rallying behind BJP candidate Kishor Bhatt, the election appears to be leaning in his favor. This was evident from the massive turnout during the nomination rally, followed by a significant gathering of BJP leaders and supporters at various locations. The city’s political atmosphere has become vibrant with election fervor.
During the day, BJP candidate Kishor Bhatt, along with Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan, Shanti Rawat (wife of late former MLA Gopal Rawat), former district president Buddhi Singh Panwar, and other senior leaders, extended New Year greetings to traders in areas like Bhatwari Road, Collectorate, Bhairav Chowk, Badahat, Vishwanath Chowk, Court Road, Hanuman Chowk, Main Market, Kalikamli, Central Bus Stand, Mall Road.
Kishor shared his vision for the city with the traders, promising the development of adequate and convenient parking spaces, the installation of streetlights and CCTV cameras, and city beautification projects. A large number of BJP leaders, including Nagendra Chauhan, Rajendra Gangari, Savita Bhatt, and Ramanand Bhatt, were also present during the event.
