Thrill Zone Organizes Half Marathon in Prayagraj

Prayagraj:  The holy city of Prayagraj witnessed a spectacular celebration of fitness and community spirit as Thrill Zone successfully organized the 2nd Edition of Prayagraj Half Marathon 2025 at Arail Ghat. With a massive turnout of approximately 1,000 runners from over 15 states across India, the event lived up to its theme – Run for Green and Clean Prayagraj.

Participants competed across four race categories: 21.097 km, 10.5 km, 5 km, and 2 km, reflecting a wide demographic of fitness enthusiasts.

The fastest male runner in the 10.50 KM category was Naveen (Bib 1021), who completed the distance in 00:38:05. He was followed by Nitesh Yadav (Bib 1033) with a time of 00:39:05, and Saurabh Rautela (Bib 1018), who finished in 00:42:02.

In the female category, Mansi (Bib 1097) secured the first position with a time of 00:57:22. Urmila Chaudhary (Bib 1044) came in second, clocking 01:08:33, while Ankita (Bib 1043) took third place with a time of 01:09:00.

Abhinav Majhi (Bib 2087) was the fastest male runner in the 21.097 KM category, finishing in 01:21:46. He was followed by Adarsh Rawat (Bib 2017), who completed the race in 01:28:39, and Mohammed Younus (Bib 2049), who finished third with a time of 01:31:40.

Among the female participants, Priyanka Gupta (Bib 2036) claimed the top spot with a time of 01:48:57. Vidya Dhapodkar (Bib 2062) secured second place with a time of 02:05:46, while Kusum Yadav (Bib 2029) finished third, clocking 02:18:14.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Shri Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesharwani, Mayor of Prayagraj, and Shri Amiya Nandan Sinha, IG & Principal Chief Security Commissioner, RPF.

The event was powered by an esteemed panel of partners, including Nagar Nigam Prayagraj (Associate Partner), Big FM, Decathlon Prayagraj, Naaz Hospital, High Court Allahabad BAR Association, North Indian Railway, RPF, NCC, NOScarse, Bonn, and others who extended their generous support.

Renowned Asian Marathon Champion Dr. Sunita Godara (1992) served as the Face of the Event, while Col (Dr) Arvind Jha, a leading Sports Psychologist, mentored the initiative.

All participants received a T-shirt, Finisher Medal, E-certificate, Refreshments, and Hydration Support, with on-ground medical aid and ambulance facilities arranged by Thrill Zone to ensure complete safety.

Thrill Zone is an organisation working to promote health and fitness since 2015. It has organised 122+ running events across various cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Noida, Gurugram, Lucknow, Prayagraj, and more.It was founded in 2015.

The next edition of the Prayagraj Half Marathon is scheduled for 9th November 2025, once again organized by Thrill Zone.
