HMSI has achieved a remarkable milestone of 1 crore cumulative two-wheeler sales in these states, underscoring the company’s enduring presence, and reaffirming its status as a preferred brand among buyers.
Honda ventured into the Indian market with its first two-wheeler, the Activa, in 2001 and the rest is history. Over the years, HMSI accomplished many milestones and is proudly one of India’s most loved two-wheeler brands, constantly meeting the evolving needs of its diverse customer base across geographies. The 1 crore sales milestone in these states is a testament to the unwavering trust and loyalty of HMSI’s customers along with the support of dealer partners.
The states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Chhattisgarh together represent the central region of the country. Since its inception in 2001, HMSI achieved the first 50 lakh sales milestone in these states in 2017. However, the next 50 lakh sales were achieved in under 7 years and now boasts a family of over 1 crore customers.
Activa is the company’s best-selling model in this region followed by 125cc duo (Shine 125 & SP125). Moreover, the new Shine 100 is loved by customers and has helped to gain significant market share in 100-110cc segment. HMSI has over 1,200 network touchpoints across these four states, making it easily accessible to people in both rural and urban areas.
