A coffee table book titled “Ek Shaam Sainikon Ke Naam Release at Raj Bhavan.

Derhadun: A coffee table book titled “Ek Shaam Sainikon Ke Naam” (An Evening Dedicated to Soldiers), prepared by the Uttarakhand Soldiers’ Rehabilitation Organization, was released by Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at Rajbhavan.

The Uttarakhand Soldiers’ Rehabilitation Organization had organized “Ek Shaam Sainikon Ke Naam” events at Raj Bhavan, Dehradun on January 14, 2025, to mark Armed Forces Veterans Day, and at Raj Bhavan, Nainital on June 11, 2025. The coffee table book titled “Ek Shaam Sainikon Ke Naam – 2025” was published to document and preserve the various activities held during these events.

A light refreshments program was organized at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of Independence Day. The event was attended by Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and several other dignitaries.

On this occasion, the Governor and the Chief Minister released the book titled “Constitutional Leadership: Inspiring Expressions.” Published by the Raj Bhavan Information Complex, the book compiles the Governor’s addresses delivered during Assembly sessions, as well as his speeches on State Foundation Day and Republic Day.

The program was attended by former Governor of Maharashtra and former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Cabinet Ministers Shri Ganesh Joshi, Subodh Uniyal, Satpal Maharaj, along with Members of Parliament, MLAs, other dignitaries, and senior administrative officials.
